And the Animals …Move Workshop ( Pre K -2)

Children discover the magic of movement and mask making as they experience animals from the “inside out”. They revel in walking in the legs, swimming in the fins, flying in the wings…. of animals that inhabit the earth… and in imaginary creatures they create! This workshop is meant to support your work with the children in exploring animal families and animal life. It is interactive and experiential and may be incorporated into the content area, or used as a stand-alone experience for the children

Casting their own faces as a base, they create a totem that in some way represents an animal spirit that is meaningful to them.
